A one-person dramatic reading of The Circuit, adapted and performed by José Rubén De León. Through a vivid tapestry of memory, a single performer captures the relentless rhythm of the harvest—the heat of the cotton fields, the heartbreak of constant packing, and the quiet triumph of a child fighting for an education. This is not just a story of economic hardship; it is a masterful exploration of the enduring bonds of family, the pain of invisibility, and the fierce, unyielding hope of the human spirit.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Shows are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM. Special show on October 3rd at 2 PM.

Join us in a safe space where families impacted by the criminal justice system come together to learn, grow, share, pray, and get resources and support. The theme will be “Navigating Crisis and Recovery: Addressing Mental Health Challenges Among Families, Justice-Involved Individuals, and Vulnerable Populations.” We will discuss complicated issues related to loved one’s metal health, what to do in crisis, and family problem resolution.

Join us for SNIPSA’s biggest event of the year, the 19th Annual Race for the Rescues! This all-paws-in fundraiser raises critical awareness for San Antonio’s homeless animal population, with proceeds directly supporting our spay/neuter outreach and providing essential veterinary care for rescue animals. Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, you can make a difference. (And yes, your dog can race too!)

Celebrate National Public Land’s Day on Saturday, September 26 by participating in a Westside creekway cleanup! Join the San Antonio River Authority, Parks and Recreation, Thrive Youth Center, and District 5 for a litter cleanup along the Alazan Creekway.

All supplies provided, including trash bags, gloves, and litter grabbers. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes, sunblock and a hat, and bring a reusable water bottle.

You’ll find a treasure trove of classical and jazz vinyl and compact discs for sale at VERY affordable prices, as well scores of books that are sure to appeal to public radio fans. Blanquita is an interdisciplinary artist and business leader from San Antonio, Texas. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Studio Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), holds a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University, and studied painting at The Art Students League and the New York Studio School.

“Puro Conjunto: Border(less) Sound” celebrates how this uniquely Texan genre continues to thrive in San Antonio, the region, and beyond. The exhibit will highlight the people, places, and traditions at the heart of conjunto. Museum visitors will see conjunto pioneer Bruno Villarreal’s accordion, along with artifacts central to the genre—some of which will be on display for the first time--along with loans from the community and other organizations. Additionally, visitors are invited to get hands-on with a selection of musical instruments at an interactive station on the exhibit floor.
