Everyone should know how to mend and if you've ever wanted to learn, join Oliver for an evening of learning how to mend your favorite shirt or how to spice up that thrifted piece using simple mending techniques. This men’s mending class covers the basics of repairing and maintaining everyday clothing—sewing on buttons and reinforcing worn areas. No prior experience is needed, and all skill levels are welcome. The focus is on building confidence with simple tools, extending the life of your clothes, and picking up useful skills you can use at home.
Note: participants are asked to bring an item they'd like to mend; if not, there will be practice materials and sewing notions provided.

Come one come all to a hands on weekly tea brewing class. Learn the simple steps to brewing a perfect, organic, all natural cup of hot or glass of iced tea any time. Do it at home, at work, on the road, literally anywhere you can get hot water (or cold water for cold brewed teas).
We will take all the mystery and angst out of tea brewing and explore the many health benefits of loose leaf and herbal teas. Find the one that is right for you with over 100 flavors and endless flavor combinations.

Hands on activity will be building worm habitats with an option to purchase for a nominal fee. SA Composting Project, and anyone who composts, promotes healthy soil by amending poor soil with compost. Healthier soil holds water more efficiently, leading to healthier plants that help hold onto the soil and prevent precipitation runoff.
