Chromosome 18 conditions are genetic abnormalities that lead to our special-needs children being born with a wide array of physical challenges like difficulty hearing, walking, and cognitive challenges like learning disabilities and autism. Throughout the school year, Northside librarians collect gently used books and our generous sponsors donate new books to ensure that families who would like to have books in their homes do not go without. This year, three campuses of students will share the work of bagging thousands of books that will be distributed at three Northside campuses: Brennan HS, Holmes HS, and Stinson Middle School. Brennan, Holmes, and Stinson students will then rally at the distribution in the spring, just in time to make sure that any student, grades PK-12, will have books to read during the summer.
Visit any of three locations: Brennan HS, Holmes HS, or Stinson MS:
Receive a bag of free new and gently used books for each child present while supplies last.
You do not need to be a resident of Northside.
