Dance the day away with beats by DJ De la O and join in on the excitement with bingo, fabulous prizes, and surprises galore!
Then, grab your paddles and hit the courts for our Pickleball Tournament from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. It's a round-robin single-elimination showdown, ensuring non-stop excitement and plenty of chances to showcase your skills.
THIS YEAR, there is a fun (non-competitive) and professional (competitive) bracket!
Our hosts will keep the energy high and the competition fierce throughout the tournament. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting, there's fun to be had for players of all levels.
Your participation ensures Thrive can continue to provide much-needed resources to LGBTQ youth ages 18 to 24 who are experiencing homelessness.
Join Ruby City for a special celebration of the work of Tracey Rose with an exhibition walkthrough led by Ruby City Director Elyse A. Gonzales. Offering insight into Rose’s multidisciplinary practice and the drawings on view, the walkthrough will explore themes, context, and conceptual frameworks that shape the exhibition, inviting visitors to engage more deeply with the work.
Following the walkthrough, guests are invited to a reception to connect and reflect on the exhibition with music by Strawberry Jams, light bites by Sweet Yams, and complimentary drinks. MOVE Texas will also be on site offering voter registration and resources, inviting visitors to participate in civic processes that impact arts and cultural spaces in our communities.

Celebrate Pride Month with us at the library! Join us for a lively conversation with four local queer Latine authors. Dive into their creative processes, key influences, and raw experiences publishing as queer Latine voices in a predominantly white industry. Authors will read poems from their books, followed by a book signing and sales.
Join us for the debut of Runway Rasquachic with visionary San Antonio-based fashion designer and producer Agosto Cuellar on Saturday, June 6, at the corner of Guadalupe and S. Brazos in the heart of the Historic Westside.
Runway Rasquachic is the newest production by Haus of Augustine, Cuellar’s newly launched creative haus with Dr. Puente Para La Gente. Runway Rasquachic is an annual event featuring a collective of local designers, artists, creators, and cultural icons coming together for one night to showcase fashion in the streets, where creativity is born.
The term rasquachic was coined by local fashion icon and vintage store owner Pilar to describe her style as not rasquache, but rasquachic. Runway Rasquachic features a 100 ft street runway, about 30 pop-up exhibitions and interactive creative spaces, where attendees will experience the artistic process and support local talent!

Fiesta Noche del Rio is a spectacular outdoor performance featuring live music, singing and dancing in the beautiful Arneson River Theatre in La Villita on the San Antonio River Walk. Alamo Kiwanis Club produces the show each summer to benefit local children’s charities, and the show is updated each year. Enjoy the Mariachis, Flamenco guitar, music, singing, dancing, bright costumes and a cool drink or snack as you help support children’s charities through your attendance.
Fiesta Noche del Rio performances are on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:30 p.m. at the Arneson River Theatre (418 Villita St.) from June 5 through August 1, but we recommend arriving early to get a great seat. It’s a fun show for the whole family and a San Antonio tradition since 1957.

On this guided bird tour around the various habitats of Mitchell Lake Audubon Center, guests will see at least 30-50 different bird species with our expert guide. Travelling by both car and by foot to access as many areas as possible, this tour is best suited for the birder age 15+ as it can last up to four hours, though you may leave at any time. Tours are limited. Bring your binoculars, bottle for water, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bug spray.
