St. Mary's Indian Orthodox Church is holding its 4th Annual Coconut 5k Run/Walk event!
It's held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at O.P. Schnabel Park.
This year we are donating a portion of the proceeds from the 5k to families and victims of the 2025 Kerr County floods. We want to support fellow neighbors in Kerr County and in the surrounding Hill Country.
We would love to invite anyone and eveyrone to attend the 4th Annual Coconut 5k!
You can support the Kerr County residents while also partaking in a fun, healthy event! We are also providing each and every registrant free t-shirts, breakfast tacos, a medal, and coconut water!Groups of teams of 4 or more will save $5 per person ($25/person).Kids under 5 years of age are free to enter!

Footbridge Foundation is proud to announce its fourth annual Off the Leash fundraiser on November 15, 2025, from 2pm to 5pm, hosted by Chef Johnny Hernandez at Casa Hernán Cantina. This event aims to raise critical funds for Footbridge Foundation’s spay/neuter surgery clinic, which anticipates completing over 1,000 life-saving surgeries in 2025.
Off the Leash is Footbridge Foundation's premier fundraising event, bringing together animal lovers for an afternoon of botanas, drinks, and a silent auction. SAMMinistries proudly presents the 25th Annual Empty Bowls with the support of the San Antonio Potters Guild, the San Antonio Glass Art Guild, and the Alamo Woodturners Association. This beloved community event showcases the incredible talent of local artisans, live music, a silent auction, food, fun, and fellowship, all while increasing awareness of homelessness and food insecurity.Empty Bowls is free and open to the public. When you purchase a bowl, you will receive a bowl of soup and a piece of bread. This small meal serves to make us mindful of people facing homelessness in our community, who often go hungry every day.For just $150, VIPs will receive special on-site parking, 30-minute early access to select two Signature Bowls, and a commemorative apron.

Join the San Antonio Public Library and San Antonio Gender Association in honoring transgender, two-spirit, and gender-diverse lives lost to violence over the past year. After a resource fair, the San Antonio Public Library will host an open mic for people to share memories, songs, poems, and speeches.
