Starting at 7:00 PM, Travis Park will come alive with live music, local food trucks, and an inviting atmosphere perfect for friends, families, and neighbors. Bring your blankets and chairs!

No admission fee, just good eats and great beats.

Fiesta Noche del Rio is a spectacular outdoor performance featuring live music, singing and dancing in the beautiful Arneson River Theatre in La Villita on the San Antonio River Walk. Alamo Kiwanis Club produces the show each summer to benefit local children’s charities, and the show is updated each year. Enjoy the Mariachis, Flamenco guitar, music, singing, dancing, bright costumes and a cool drink or snack as you help support children’s charities through your attendance.

Fiesta Noche del Rio performances are on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:30 p.m. at the Arneson River Theatre (418 Villita St.) from June 5 through August 1, but we recommend arriving early to get a great seat. It’s a fun show for the whole family and a San Antonio tradition since 1957.

Tickets: $25 Adults, $20 Seniors (60+)/Military, $10 Children (6-14, Under 6 is free). Tickets on-line and at HEB.

Using comedy as a way to uplift her community and create safe spaces for comedy fans from all walks of life, Kristin also donates to local nonprofits with every tour date. She is honored to be the North County LGBTQ Resource Center’s Award of Merit Recipient as well as a Curve Power List Recipient in recognition of her impact. More than a fandom, this is a movement!

Join Olmos Ensemble for our annual Summer Concert Series, beginning August 9 at First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Antonio.

·AUGUST 9: Olmos Ensemble kicks off the season with a new series!
Jeff Garza in Recital is the first in a five-year cycle of solo recitals featuring each of our core musicians.
·AUGUST 16: First-time guest theorboist John Lenti joins Olmos for Baroque Sonatas, along with guest artists Ian Pritchard and Allan Steele.
·AUGUST 23: Award-winning pianist Tamila Salimdjanova performs Ravel, Schubert and Rubinstein on a colorful program for winds & piano.
·AUGUST 30: Our Summer Concert Series concludes with a performance of iconic chamber works by Samuel Barber, Alexander Borodin and W.A. Mozart.

The Esperanza Peace & Justice Center, the López Family and UTSA Arts invite you to the "Fourth Annual "Voz de la Paloma: A Vocal Competition y Homenaje a Beatríz Llamas." The event is at the Buena Vista Theater on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 5 PM.

Beatríz Llamas, known as “La Paloma del Norte,” was a world-renowned ranchera singer highly regarded for her contribution to Tejano music. She was the first Tejana to sing at New York City’s Madison Square Garden in 1967 and was inducted into the Tejano Music Hall of Fame in 1995. Later in life, Beatríz came out of retirement to join the beloved musical quartet Las Tesoros de San Antonio, a group formed by the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center. Beatríz passed away May 15, 2023, but her influence will continue for decades to come.
Voz de la Paloma offers girls and women ages 10 and up the opportunity to perform and develop their skills, just as Beatríz Llamas did in the 1950s at local theaters such as Alameda, Nacional, and Zaragoza.

​Doors open 4:30 PM
The competition begins at 5PM, followed by a mariachi performance. The night ends with the award ceremony.
