Join author and creative wellness guide Fernando Rover Jr. in marking the Autumnal Equinox with intention, reflection, and creativity. This online class offers a peaceful space to slow down, connect with the changing season, and explore your inner landscape through guided reflective writing exercises.
Attendees will learn about the significance of the Autumnal Equinox—the moment of balance between light and dark—and engage in thoughtfully crafted writing prompts designed to deepen your self-awareness and cultivate personal insight. Whether you’re new to reflective writing or a seasoned writer, this workshop invites you to pause, reflect, and dwell gently in this seasonal transition.

About the Facilitator:
Fernando Rover Jr is an artist and creative wellness guide based in San Antonio, Texas. His work takes an interdisciplinary approach and utilizes elements of poetry, photography, and film. He holds a dual Bachelor's degree in English and history from Texas Lutheran University and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Prescott College. He is the author of three poetry books: Labyrinth (2019), Sanctuary: A 'Labyrinth' Redux (2020), and Maverick (2022). Rover Jr. is a two time recipient of the Literary Titan Award in 2020 and 2022, respectively, and was the inaugural recipient of the 2019 Best Indie Book Award for Poetry.

Play Together, Make Friends, Get Support!
In this five-week series we will play together and engage in activities that encourage learning and healthy development while meeting and playing with other children and caregivers.
Each week, we'll also have a topic expert on hand to chat and play. You'll be able to ask questions and get information on raising healthy, happy children.
This program is designed for children 0-3 and their parents/caregivers. Older siblings welcome, too!
