National Book Launch Tardeada for Aztlan Libre Press' publication of "The Donkey Lady/A Graphic Parable" by award-winning author, Carmen Tafolla, with artwork by Thelma Ortiz Muraida. The event will feature a dramatic reading of "The Donkey Lady" by the author and artist, an exhibit of the graphic paintings in the book, book signing, and reception with light refreshments and music by Juan & Armando Tejeda. Books will be available for purchase. Free and open to the community and public.

The Consulate General of India in Houston proudly announces its celebration in honor of the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026 with a variety of statewide community yoga events during the month of June.
The City of San Antonio will be celebrating International Day of Yoga one day early on Saturday, June 20 with support from local nonprofit iDoYoga San Antonio, who is offering free community yoga classes at Civic Park in Hemisfair starting at 7 p.m. Organized under Sewa International, iDoYoga provides free yoga year round and are teaming up with all 10 City Council Districts, the Mayor’s Office, Metropolitan Health District and many other community partners for this special event which will feature a relaxing sunset yoga session.
The public can join this free class to breathe, stretch, and find their inner calm in a vibrant outdoor setting. For more information about the available session on June 20, you can see the event page here
June 20 is going to be a special one. This event brings together some of San Antonio's favorite local musicians, artists, and food vendors, all in one place.
The goal is to help Chamomile Tribe fund a video production team and bring their dreamy, atmospheric sound to life on screen.

Fiesta Noche del Rio is a spectacular outdoor performance featuring live music, singing and dancing in the beautiful Arneson River Theatre in La Villita on the San Antonio River Walk. Alamo Kiwanis Club produces the show each summer to benefit local children’s charities, and the show is updated each year. Enjoy the Mariachis, Flamenco guitar, music, singing, dancing, bright costumes and a cool drink or snack as you help support children’s charities through your attendance.
Fiesta Noche del Rio performances are on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:30 p.m. at the Arneson River Theatre (418 Villita St.) from June 5 through August 1, but we recommend arriving early to get a great seat. It’s a fun show for the whole family and a San Antonio tradition since 1957.

On this guided bird tour around the various habitats of Mitchell Lake Audubon Center, guests will see at least 30-50 different bird species with our expert guide. Travelling by both car and by foot to access as many areas as possible, this tour is best suited for the birder age 15+ as it can last up to four hours, though you may leave at any time. Tours are limited. Bring your binoculars, bottle for water, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bug spray.
WHAT: A captivating large-scale immersive art experience, Otherwild, will transform the San Antonio Botanical Garden this spring into a vibrant world where wonder takes root and the sky comes alive.
Debuting Saturday, March 7, the exhibition features colorful visionary installations by artist Patrick Shearn and his internationally renowned studio, Poetic Kinetics, which is recognized for large-scale public art that inspires awe, movement, and creative exploration.
Otherwild invites visitors to step into a whimsical, nature-inspired environment where art and landscape merge. The installation will unfold into two distinct parts:
● Flora Borealis - a custom Skynet installation of ultra-lightweight, kinetic elements that float with the breeze, contrasting the SABG’s natural landscape
● Enchanted Trees - a sculptural grove of ten imaginary species, each with its own personality, crafted from reflective, movement-responsive materials that interact with sunlight and wind.
