Interested in writing? Come and join our older adult writing group, where a gathering of beginner, intermediate, and long-term writers meet to practice, listen, and encourage one another in telling stories through memoir, flash story or poetry.

Meets the first and third Wednesdays of the month with exception of closures and holidays. This program is intended for those 55+.

Concerned about privacy? Unsure about accepting cookies? Come learn about some essential privacy tips! In this introductory lecture, we’ll review how ads target us online, how to limit tracking, where to find browser settings and extensions to better control how our information is shared. We’ll also discuss some of the key features of password managers and why they’re a safe and secure option.

The target audience is adults 50+ years. Adults younger than 50 may attend if they care for an older adult. No registration needed.

Based in San Antonio, The Aerium is a premier aerial arts studio dedicated to training and performance in silks, rope, lyra, trapeze, and more. This annual showcase celebrates the dedication, creativity, and athleticism of our students as they take the stage in a professionally produced theater experience.

Set at the Jo Long Theater, the evening features dynamic choreography, stunning aerial feats, and powerful performances that blend circus technique with expressive movement.

Whether you're supporting a performer or discovering aerial arts for the first time, this is a unique night of live entertainment that inspires and amazes.

La Semana Alegre returns to Hemisfair’s Civic Park for a 3rd year! The two-day Fiesta® San Antonio event features multiple stages, food, beverages, and a vendor market – all benefiting Hemisfair, a nonprofit urban parks district!

LaTEAda Tea House offers fun, free, and friendly networking open to everyone. We will have monthly speakers and a chance to introduce yourself, your business, and make lasting connections that will propel us all forward.

Arrival time is fluid and the speaker will begin at 9:45 followed by introductions and conversation. As always, bring a friend and come hungry and thirsty and ready to discover something new!

Join us for a senior social hour at the library! Seniors are welcome to join us for socializing, light snacks, and activities. Various activities will be provided. However, feel free to bring your own crafts, games or just join us and talk if the activities do not interest you!

Activities provided include the following: cards, Dominoes, puzzles, chess, checkers, Scrabble, Giant Uno and Monopoly.

Unleash your inner artist in Villa Finale’s gardens!
Step into our historic grounds and let the colors, textures, and atmosphere inspire your imagination. Whether you paint, sketch, draw, or dabble in mixed media, you’re invited to make our gardens your open‑air studio. Come anytime during our public hours, set up wherever inspiration strikes, and create at your own pace. Just bring your favorite supplies — we’ll provide the scenery.

Free with RSVP. (Artists are responsible for protecting walkways, benches, and other museum outdoor furnishings.)

Don't miss Olmos Ensemble’s season finale, STRINGS ATTACHED! Mark Teplitsky, Jeff Garza, Eric Gratz and guests perform works for strings, flute and horn. The program features Mozart’s Flute Quartet K. 285, York Bowen’s Horn Quintet in C minor and culminates with Giuseppe Verdi’s only surviving chamber music work, the String Quartet in E minor. Guest artists Rubén Rengel, Clara Qiyun Zhao and Susie Yang join Olmos Ensemble for Season 31's final concert. Admission free with donations welcome, reception to follow.

To celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, join Yaping Harris, a scholar of Chinese culture, to learn about traditional Chinese Calligraphy. This event is open to all ages, but space is limited.
