To celebrate the dreaming life of our founder, Linda Pace, Ruby City will host its first quarterly dreamwork workshop with writer and creativity coach, Leigh Baldwin.
In each 90-minute session, participants discuss how and why to work with dreams, how to improve recall and recording of dream messages, and methods of interpreting dream symbols. Sessions will conclude by offering up dreams from our participants for group discussion and interpretation. All materials for workshop will be provided.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring the journey of Tango; from the roots of Argentine Tango to its evolution into the ballroom style known as American Tango.
In this engaging, beginner-friendly progressive experience, you’ll learn the history behind both styles while building foundational steps, posture, and connection, week by week. Discover how the movements of one influenced the other as you grow in confidence and skill.
No previous experience needed just curiosity and a willingness to move.

Class dates are Saturdays, September 5, 12, 19 & 26 from 12-1 PM. Classes will take place in the foyer which is located in front of the auditorium inside Central Library.
This beginner-friendly workshop teaches you the basics of layout design, journaling techniques, and decorative elements. Just bring 3-6 printed photos and memorabilia (ticket stubs, notes, etc.). Basic supplies are provided but you’re also welcome to bring your own (stamps, stickers, washi tape, markers, etc.).

On this guided bird tour around the various habitats of Mitchell Lake Audubon Center, guests will see at least 30-50 different bird species with our expert guide. Travelling by both car and by foot to access as many areas as possible, this tour is best suited for the birder age 15+ as it can last up to four hours, though you may leave at any time. Tours are limited. Bring your binoculars, bottle for water, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bug spray.
