Join Youth Do Vote for a celebration of civic engagement for high school students and educators as well as college students. Get registered to vote, sign up to be a poll worker, become a volunteer deputy registrar, learn how to run your own voter registration drive, and how to get involved in your community. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet local elected officials, local journalists, and other civic leaders.

Join us at Molly Pruitt Library for a book club discussion! During this month's meeting we will be discussing the book Beautiful Country by Qian Julie Wang.

Copies of the book are available for check out in advance of the meeting at Pruitt's front desk. The ebook and audiobook versions can be found on the Libby app using a San Antonio Public Library card.

Whole Earth Provision Co. on E Basse Rd. will "Bring the Outdoors In" with a family-friendly event featuring hands-on activities for all ages. Guests can learn about exotic animals from Once In A Wild, take home some greenery from The Plant Project, enjoy cold-pressed juice refreshments from Twisted Alchemy, enter to win raffles and giveaways, and more - all from the comfort of their local Whole Earth Provision Co. store.

Bring your projects and supplies, and mingle with other needlecrafters for an afternoon of sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc.! All skill levels are welcome in this self-directed meetup. This is not an instructional class. The target audience is adults but teens are also welcome to attend with an adult.

This program will be hosted the third Saturday of each month at 12pm, unless otherwise noted in the Thousand Oaks Library calendar. Please call Thousand Oaks Library for more information.

Join us for this year’s Native American Film Series: The Modern Era.

The Briscoe Western Art Museum’s Native Film Series showcases a selection of unique films that feature original and diverse indigenous stories. All films were directed, written, produced by, and/or star Native Americans. Local community activist Matthew Davila (Standing Rock Dakota) curated the series and will lead a short presentation before each film.
