Celebrate the 40th annual Gruene Music & Wine Fest with Tasting & Tunes at The Grapevine!
Enjoy free live music by Ruben V and Aaron Stephens, taste the flavors of local Texan wineries and breweries, and experience the charm of the Texas Hill Country.

Admission is free and open to the public. Tasting tickets will be available for purchase on-site, with proceeds benefiting United Way of Comal and Guadalupe Counties.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring the journey of Tango; from the roots of Argentine Tango to its evolution into the ballroom style known as American Tango.

In this engaging, beginner-friendly progressive experience, you’ll learn the history behind both styles while building foundational steps, posture, and connection, week by week. Discover how the movements of one influenced the other as you grow in confidence and skill.

No previous experience needed just curiosity and a willingness to move.

Link for registration (all dance classes) is on the 9/5/26 calendar listing. This is a progressive dance instruction series and attendance at all or most of the classes is preferred. Class dates are Saturdays, September 5, 12, 19 & 26 from 12-1 PM. Classes will take place in the foyer which is located in front of the auditorium inside Central Library.

Join us in celebrating the 25th anniversary of the film Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. We’ll have a Sorting Ceremony, Wand Decorating, Bookmark making, Bottle Cap Magnets, and a Magical Photo Spot. All ages are welcome, and costumes are encouraged.

You are cordially invited to our Pollinator Tea Party, a FREE, family-friendly, low-waste event that celebrates pollinators through immersive nature playscapes, environmental education, and sustainable practices during the spring Monarch Butterfly migration 🦋

Did you know pollinators are responsible for at least 1 of every 3 bites of food we eat? Learn how a healthy ecosystem connects to our culinary traditions through hands-on experiences including a “Pollinator Prowl” recipe scavenger hunt, fruit and shade tree adoption, and Critter Café in the Estela Avery Education Center. This event invites a multigenerational audience to explore the mini worlds within nature found in our backyards and neighborhood parks, fostering a deeper appreciation for biodiversity and environmental stewardship.

Ruby City & Trinity University KRTU’s partnership continues with a special installment of Music in the Park featuring Money Chicha!

Guests are invited to bring folding chairs or picnic blankets and enjoy an evening of live music under the stars. Complimentary drinks and light bites from Fat Tummy Empanadas will be provided.

This event is free and open to all. Registration is encouraged but not required.
