A capacity crowd is expected at the Alamodome, which hosted the 1997 Royal Rumble that saw 60,000 fans witness Stone Cold Steve Austin's first rumble victory. More than a quarter-century later, WWE returns to San Antonio at a flashpoint for the company.

The 50th anniversary game marks the first time the Spurs have played in the dome since 2002. More than 64,000 tickets have been sold, and the game is set to surpass the 62,000-fan NBA attendance record first set in 1998.
