The San Antonio Art League + Museum will open its 96th Annual Juried Art Exhibition on Sunday, April 12, 2026, with a public reception and awards ceremony from 3–5 PM. The exhibition remains on view through June 12, 2026.
Selected from more than 500 submissions from across Texas, this year’s exhibition reflects the breadth and vitality of contemporary practice. More than $14,000 in awards will be presented at the opening reception.
Museum Hours: 10 am–3 pm Tue–Sat. Admission is FREE.

Join us at Medina River Natural Area to Paint by the River. This month bridge your creativity with natural components to create an expressive work of art to take home. Let your inner artist and loved ones come out to make lasting memories.
Celebrating Medina's Pricky Pear Fiesta this April with natural paint that comes from Cochineal, which lives on the Prickly Pear Cactus.
All materials will be provided.

Interested in trying out some mystery? We’ll clue you in to some good titles! Each month, we’ve chosen a book from a different genre that we’ll read and discuss.
In March, our book journey begins with the thriller genre. The book selection is First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston.
In April (Historical Fiction) we'll discuss The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead.
In May (Fantasy) we'll discuss Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.

Vaisakhi is a historical harvest festival of Punjab celebrated in April. Join us with the Gurudwara Sikh Center of San Antonio as they exhibit the unique arts & crafts and clothing from this area, followed by folk dances, turban tying and more! Light refreshments will be provided. Don't miss this very entertaining cultural program!
The Hill Country Chorale, in its 25th Season, presents a concert of music by Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and George Gershwin. These composers contributed to 20th-Century American popular music in Broadway and film, bridging popular music with jazz and classical influences. Their memorable tunes have endured.
