Join us for this beginner-level ESL course is designed for adult learners whose first language is not English. The course focuses on developing foundational skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing to help students communicate effectively in everyday situations.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to sew? Led by Alamo Tailoring, this class will teach you the basics of sewing, cutting patterns, and more. You can bring your sewing machine, supplies, and any piece you want to work on!
Prudencia Gallery is pleased to announce our exhibit with Artist Soon Y. Warren, "Refractions: the Art of Crystal and Color." The exhibit will run from June 6 to July 12. We will have an opening reception on Saturday, June 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. Soon will give her 'Artist Talk', June 28 at 3 pm.
Soon Y. Warren was born in South Korea and emigrated to the United States in 1987. Soon's favorite subjects are the beautiful plants and flowers she finds around her, often flowers from her own gardens.
Since Soon began painting full-time in 1998, she has had many exhibitions and earned numerous awards. She is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, the American Watercolor Society, the Southern Watercolor Society, the Society of Watercolor Artists, and the Texas Watercolor Society.

Join us at Molly Pruitt Library for a week of free chess instruction and practice with Alex Weinberg, a U.S. Chess Federation chess master. This is a five-day chess camp for kids, with skill building activities throughout the week.

Learn the first steps toward building websites! Design Your Own Webpages will teach the fundamentals of coding webpages with the aim of developing basic skills needed for the design of larger applications. Class will utilize coding languages that are used for the visual aspect of webpage design. We will code as we go, learning how to make webpages from scratch. No experience required!
Join us every Friday to watch retro movies. These films are R and PG-13 rated. We will provide snacks and refreshments.
