The Medina County Museum is hosting their Heritage Day on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 10 AM – 3 PM in Hondo. Stop by and celebrate the rich history of Medina County!

Museum Exhibits, demonstrations, reenactors, music, food, vendors. Patriotic theme honoring our Nation's 250th and Memorial Day weekend.

Opening ceremony and welcome by Medina County Judge Keith Lutz, flag raising, National Anthem @ 10:00 AM.

Join San Antonio Parks & Recreation In Conversation with Jenelle Esparza.

Jenelle Esparza is an artist and educator born in the coastal city of Corpus Christi, Texas. She studied at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in photography in 2010. Esparza has exhibited nationally, including at the San Antonio Museum of Art, which houses a permanent collection of her work. She has received numerous awards, including the National Association of Latin Arts and Culture (NALAC) Artist Fellowship in 2015.

Come listen to a free concert celebrating J. S. Bach! We will play his Motet, "Jesu, Meine Freude" as well as dances from his Orchestral Suites and selections from the Brandenburg Concerti. We hope you will join us!

Join us for a patriotic Memorial Day weekend concert series honoring the men and women who served and sacrificed for our country. This special series will bring music, community, and remembrance to the San Antonio metropolitan area with performances in Seguin, San Antonio, and Boerne. Families, veterans, military members, first responders, students, and community members are invited to gather for an uplifting musical tribute in recognition of Memorial Day.
