Looking for support and community? Join the PFLAG San Antonio chapter for their bi-monthly a support meeting for the LGBTQ+ community and their families, friends and allies on the 1st and 3rd Thursday every month from 7-9 pm. PFLAG is the nation's largest organization uniting people who are LGBTQ with those who love and care about them. PFLAG is a non-profit organization and is not affiliated with any religious or political institutions. PFLAG leads with love.

An evening event featuring General CQ Brown, the 21st Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and former 22nd Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force, is scheduled. This event is a fundraiser for the scholarship fund of the Pi Lambda Theta Education Foundation Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

The ticket price encompasses a gourmet meal and access to a silent auction that will be held during the event.

In commemoration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Pi Theta Lambda Educational Foundation, Inc. (PTLEF) in cooperation with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. – Pi Theta Lambda Chapter is proud to present the 12th Annual DREAM MAJOR Gala to benefit the PTLEF Scholarship Fund.

The evening's theme is “Our Pride, Our Progress,” and will feature General Charles Q. Brown, Jr., USAF (Ret), who served as the 21st Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, as the keynote speaker.

General Brown is presently an Executive-in-Residence at Duke University.

The 3rd Annual National Missing Persons Day: Greater San Antonio United 2026 is an open, community-focused event dedicated to raising awareness, offering support, and honoring those impacted by missing persons cases, including runaways, trafficking-related disappearances, cold cases, and unsolved crimes.
This year’s program gives families the opportunity to represent their loved ones, share their stories if they choose, and dedicate a table or chair to introduce their case and keep their memory present. Children are welcome, and we will have crafting activities available throughout the event. Therapy animals will also be present for emotional support.
The event is open to the public and includes educational components for families, community members, and partner organizations. Law enforcement agencies, investigators, and supporting professionals are welcome, and the environment is structured to ensure a respectful, calm, and safe space for all attendees. Break-out rooms will be available for private conversations, quiet time, or agency-family discussions.
Free snacks and drinks will be provided. This event creates a setting where our community can unite, learn, and take meaningful action. Join us for an afternoon of remembrance, education, and connection.
