The City of San Antonio World Heritage Office invites you to join us for "Día de los Muertos: Celebrando las Misiones, a special community event honoring loved ones. Enjoy family-friendly activities, live music, food, and more. All are welcome to join and celebrate the lives of those who have passed.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
3 p.m. - Blessing and Procession leading to the Mission Marquee Plaza stage (3100 Roosevelt Ave., San Antonio, TX 78214).
4 to 10 p.m. - Entertainment, music, activities, remembrance slideshow, a film screening on the original 1948 Mission Drive-In screen, and more.

REMEMBRANCE PHOTO TRIBUTE
The community is invited to submit digital photos of passed loved ones to honor in our remembrance slideshow featured on the Mission Marquee Plaza original 1948 drive-in movie screen. A call for photos will be announced on the Mission Marquee Plaza website and social media pages.

On this guided bird tour around the various habitats of Mitchell Lake Audubon Center, guests will see at least 30-50 different bird species with our expert guide. Travelling by both car and by foot to access as many areas as possible, this tour is best suited for the birder age 15+ as it can last up to four hours, though you may leave at any time. Tours are limited. Bring your binoculars, bottle for water, closed-toe shoes, long pants, and bug spray.

The exhibit will highlight the people, places, and traditions at the heart of conjunto. Museum visitors will see conjunto pioneer Bruno Villarreal’s accordion, along with artifacts central to the genre—some of which will be on display for the first time--along with loans from the community and other organizations. Additionally, visitors are invited to get hands-on with a selection of musical instruments at an interactive station on the exhibit floor.

Enjoy FREE museum admission at Texas Science & Natural History Museum during H-E-B Free Fourth Sundays, held the fourth Sunday of every month. Explore the story of life in the natural world in Texas from the formation of our planet, through the age of the dinosaurs, into our current environment. See fascinating fossils and examples of Texas wildlife, touch real meteorites, and walk beneath the 33-foot wingspan of a pterosaur and tyrannosaur!
