In the first segment:
Bexar County's CareLink program, which is run by University Health System, helps low-income citizens access healthcare. So does the Affordable Care Act, and as the ACA continues to be implemented, changes are coming to CareLink, which assists more than 50,000 people.
The nationally-recognized program assists people by scaling health costs of procedures to their budgets. While not an insurance plan, Bexar County residents must apply to get the finiancial help. Only a fraction of the more than 300,000 eligible people have enrolled in the program.
We speak with Virginia Mika, executive director of CareLink, along with Leni Kirkman, who is in charge of patient relations.

In the second segment:
The 2009 arrest of hedge-fund billionaire Raj Rajaratnam for insider trading sent shockwaves through the hedgefund and stock trading worlds. The two-year probe would land executives in jail, including those at IBM, Intel, McKinsey and Co. It also resulted in the closing of Rajaratnam's billion-dollar Galleon Hedge Fund.
Rajaratnam, who is in jail today, was given the longest jail sentence of anyone convicted of this crime. He has a scheduled release in the year 2021.
Airing tonight at 9 p.m. on KLRN is Frontline's new documentary "To Catch A Trader," which details the case and the culture of insider trading that pervaded and still pervades the largest stock trading organizations. We speak with Nick Virbitsky, who directed the film.
