She served as the editor-in-chief of Trinity University’s campus newspaper, the Trinitonian, in the 2020-2021 academic year and was the publication’s first ever Latina editor-in-chief. Prior to that she served as the Trinitonian’s news editor. She was also a freelance reporter for the San Antonio Current, the San Antonio Heron, and Texas Public Radio prior to becoming a producer on The Source.
She is originally from the Rio Grande Valley and graduated from Trinity University in 2021 with two bachelor degrees in English and anthropology.
