Danya Pérez is a bicultural and bilingual reporter from El Paso. She covered education for The Monitor newspaper in the Rio Grande Valley, the San Antonio Express-News, and more recently she was a diverse communities reporter for the Houston Landing. She is joining the San Antonio Report to focus on Higher Education through a partnership with Open Campus.
