The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio is the beneficiary of a six-week fundraising campaign by Walmart and Sam’s Club. The annual campaign raised more than $319,482 for the children’s hospital.
The ongoing partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital ran from May 7 through June 21 in all the store's locations through San Antonio and South Texas.
The nationwide campaign raised more than $40 million through the in-store donations, which will go toward equipment and therapy programs for children who become seriously ill.
Children’s Hospital of San Antonio treated 150,000 kids last year.
