Brought to you by the San Antonio River Foundation, BiblioTech and San Antonio BCycle, with support from PeopleForBikes and the Better Bike Share Partnership, this program is your ticket to a wilder side of San Antonio, where each bike ride introduces you to both our city’s unique nature and the perks of using BCycle, San Antonio’s bikeshare system.

Are you a teen who loves writing in your free time? Or perhaps you've never had the opportunity to write? If so, this Online Teen Writing Circle is for you! In this monthly writing circle, teens can write in a judgment-free zone. We’ll break the ice and engage in various writing exercises. You can share your work with peers for constructive feedback, but it's not required. Our goal is to keep you writing! This course welcomes teen writers of any skill level.
Participants will leave with new written work and gain valuable listening and sharing experiences. They'll receive constructive feedback to improve their writing. For more details about our Teen Writing Circle, check out our Frequently Asked Questions on the Gemini Ink website!
The workshop is facilitated by Daniel Ramirez, an educator for over 15 years. After studying History in grad school, Daniel worked in conservation with teenagers. His experience as a Montessori educator showed him the power of creativity in learning.

"Macario" is a 1960 Mexican supernatural drama film directed by Roberto Gavaldón and widely regarded by critics and audiences as one of the greatest Mexican films ever made. The story centers on a poor Indigenous woodcutter (Ignacio López Tarso) living in Colonial Mexico on the eve of the Day of the Dead, and his encounter with the Devil, God, and Death.
This special screening (the film is unavailable through commercial streaming platforms or physical media distribution in the United States) offers a rare opportunity to engage with the work and explore its significant historical and cultural contributions to Mexican cinema. This movie is rated PG-13.
