Our Ragtime Festival and Competition judges will give a Ragtime Concert on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 2 pm at Radius Center, 106 Auditorium Circle Suite 120, San Antonio, TX 78205.
Suggested donation is $20. Competition winners and contestants receiving Honorable Mention will be invited to perform in the Ragtime Concert.The Radius is located across the street from the Tobin Center.
A black farce masterpiece, LOOT follows the fortunes of two young thieves, Hal and Dennis. Dennis is a hearse driver for an undertaker. They have robbed the bank next door to the funeral parlour and have returned to Hal’s home to hide-out with the loot. Hal’s mother has just died and the pair put the money in her coffin, hiding the body elsewhere in the house. With the arrival of Inspector Truscott, the thickened plot turns topsy-turvy.

Hundreds of voices from throughout SA join to sing the Christmas portion of Handel’s Messiah with the San Antonio Choral Society, soloists, and orchestra. A portion of ticket sales will go to support ChildSafe, Bexar County's care center for child abuse prevention and recovery.

Join local author Antonia Murguia as she shares "Antonia's Poetic Heart: A Little Chapbook of Poems," an intimate collection that explores the relationships and stories we all carry — blending tenderness, truth, humor, and reflection.
This month in bookbinding we explore the Slip Knot stitch - a no sew, no glue version of the Coptic stitch that uses cording to create a flip book. This class will have several components: learning how to create the Slip Knot binding, making a blank book for practice, and making (two) double sided torn paper master boards to create a decorative book.
All materials provided, along with guided instruction. No bookbinding experience needed. Participants are welcome to bring any paper they'd like to use for their books.

Grupo Tan Tan will fill the air with their music in a FREE concert sponsored by the King William Association.
They are a fara-fara band (a stripped down and more portable version of norteno music played mostly acoustically) style band that covers classic conjunto, tejano, and norteno songs that helped define "the San Antonio sound" to preserve its unique musical culture. Many of the band's songs are from local San Antonio musicians who had popular hits and helped define their respective genres.
