The Red Dot Show is the only annual survey of its size that showcases and celebrates the work of over 100 San Antonio artists, and no two Red Dots are ever the same. The art sale equally benefits the artists and everyone’s favorite longest-running nonprofit for contemporary art, Contemporary at Blue Star. The opening party is a fun, unstuffy event honoring some of San Antonio’s most distinguished arts and culture icons. Most importantly, Red Dot provides vital support for the Contemporary’s year-round exhibitions and expansive, no-cost art education programs that inspire, nurture, and innovate through contemporary art.
