Arlington National Cemetery

A federal judge allowed Arlington National Cemetery to remove a century-old Confederate memorial one day after blocking the removal over a report that gravesites were disturbed.

Many former troops consider an Arlington burial their final veterans benefit. But space for in-ground burials is getting scarce, so some vets may be steered toward cremation instead.
