Last night, before an audience of hundreds Rabbi Steve Gutow read a laundry list of violent attacks on Jews and Jewish communities in countries across the world. He argues the world is in the throes of a rise in anti-Semitic behavior.
He acknowledged that there is also a rise in Islamophobia in his talk at Temple Beth-El, which is something he also touched on earlier in the afternoon speaking on The Source.
What he sees is an across-the-board rise in intolerance in what were pluralist countries.
San Antonio had a noticeable case of anti-Semitic graffiti that showed up on synagogues and other buildings in the city's north side.
What is behind the rise in global intolerance?
