You don't know Aasif Mandvi, and according to his book trailer for "No Land's Man" neither do his famous friends. They didn't know he was Indian or Muslim or British or a Racist...the last one is questionable.
Mandvi tells the story of his life, one of itinerant immigration and redefinition. From being born in Bombay (now Mumbai) to being harassed in British schools for his ancestry, to moving to the United States because his father was obsessed with the concept of brunch, the book is a humorous collection of essays tracing his surprising journey.
