The Hays Street Bridge Restoration Group sued the city of San Antonio in 2012 alleging that the city had broken a contract to develop donated land adjacent to the bridge into a park.
The city, which has sold the land to Alamo Brewing Company, says the land was never part of the deal to restore the bridge. The trial began yesterday.
