Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen said Tuesday's polling went smoothly.

"I’ve been in this office 21 years. And I’ve been the elections administrator for 11 years," Callanen said. "And this has been the most high energy one we’ve had. A lot of interest. We had a lot of people that showed up at the polls still that were not registered to vote that had to fill in provisional ballots. We saw a lot of that."

Callanen said overall voting went very smoothly in Bexar County yesterday with very few glitches.
