Employers Seeking Veterans At Valentine's Day Job Fair

Recruitmilitary.com

Get your roses and resumés ready, a special hiring event for veterans takes place on Valentine’s Day, this Thursday, at the Alamodome. The event is being organized by RecruitMilitary and USAA.

While many people are thinking of ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day, many recently-returned veterans are thinking of ways they can get back to work now that they’re home.

Veterans who already have civilian work experience and those who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life are invited to the job fair, where 45 companies will be looking for new employees.

Also welcome are members of the National Guard and Reserves, military spouses and other family members.

Hiring companies include USAA, Home Depot, Lockheed Martin, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and others from across Texas and the U.S.

The job fair is this Thursday, Valentine’s Day, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Alamodome.
