Attention all youth filmmakers, save the date! URBAN-15 and the Josiah Media Festival announce their call for entries for the 18th Josiah media Festival! Filmmakers must be 21 years old or younger, and submit their films between May 1st, 2024 and August 1st, 2024.
Entry Guidelines:
• Filmmakers must be 21 years old or younger• Films must not exceed 20 minutes• Filmmakers must complete all required forms and submit films in valid format, more information at URBAN15.org• Films will be entered into one of four categories: Narrative, Documentary, Animation or Experimental
The Josiah Media Festival will award cash prizes for the top three winners in each film category!

The YOSA Philharmonic presents an exciting night of music in "Wildlife Harmonies.” Experience the highly anticipated world premiere of Beasts and Birds of Bexar, composed by members of the Composers Alliance of San Antonio (CASA) and inspired by animals at San Antonio Zoo. This concert will also feature Respighi’s show-stopping Pines of Rome with special guests the San Antonio Brass Band, plus a solo performance by the winner of the 2023/24 YOSA Concerto Competition. Don’t miss this wild musical adventure through the animal kingdom!
The incomparable queen of Latin jazz, Magos Herrera is back! The Mexican singer-songwriter, producer and educator will share highlights from her latest album “Aire” featuring original music and jewels from the Great Latin American songbook. Magos will share the stage with guitarist Vinicius Gomes, bassist Sam Minaie, and drummer Alex Kautz.
This will be a recurring event on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month.
