As the Edwards Aquifer Authority (EAA) celebrates 30 years of stewardship on June 28th, we invite residents, students, businesses, and organizations from Atascosa, Bexar, Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe, Hays, Medina, and Uvalde counties to help us look to the future by showcasing how you're managing the drought. Whether you're collecting rainwater, composting, using drip irrigation, or embracing native plants—we want to see it!

Winning photos will be featured in the 2027 EAA Calendar, celebrating innovation, resilience, and the community’s shared commitment to protecting the aquifer.

🎣 Join the San Antonio River Authority for River Rodeo 2026 - Headwaters to Mission Reach! This fun fishing challenge on the river is a great opportunity for anglers of all experience levels to get outside, enjoy the water, and be part of something meaningful!

🌊 Participants will fish designated areas, log their catches, and compete across different categories while helping highlight and support our local waterways.

The 14th annual San Antonio Book Festival is a free, family-friendly event that draws more than 22,000 festivalgoers for a full day of author presentations, panel discussions, book sales, signings, activities for children and teens, and food trucks. SABF showcases debut authors and established writers, introducing attendees to new literary talents and connecting them with their favorite authors. Get ready to grow native herbaceous plants through propagation in this hands-on workshop to grow your garden from cuttings of native plants.

Springtime is the perfect time of year to start thinking about adding to your native plant collection, but you don't have to spend money to increase your plants! This workshop will dive deep into what makes herbaceous cuttings the easiest way to propagate plants and even have an opportunity to practice your new skills with a take-home demo! Learn the proper way to reproduce plants, the parts of a plant relevant to propagation, and be able to demonstrate how to process a basic cutting. This workshop will dive into the anatomy and physiology of native herbaceous plants and what steps and materials you will need to propagate them.

Participants should be ready to get their hands dirty with some hands-on demonstrations and take home a plant!

$10 to cover materials cost, free to Alamo Colleges students

You're invited to our Family Resource & Sensory Play Morning. This event is designed to bridge the gap between fun and functionality—offering children an engaging sensory experience while providing parents direct access to essential community advocates and resources.
