The Bugs, Bikes, & Botany: Nature Adventure Kit Program invites families to experience the Mission Reach from a whole new angle—a bug’s-eye view! Brought to you by the San Antonio River Foundation, BiblioTech and San Antonio BCycle, with support from PeopleForBikes and the Better Bike Share Partnership, this program is your ticket to a wilder side of San Antonio, where each bike ride introduces you to both our city’s unique nature and the perks of using BCycle, San Antonio’s bikeshare system.

The Business and Professional Toastmasters club meets every Friday at 12:05PM. Guests are always welcomed. Whether you're an experienced Toastmaster or you've never attended a Toastmasters meeting we invite you to join us for lunch. We promise you an enjoyable, positive experience and a fun time too.

If improved communication skills and enhanced leadership abilities are on your "Bucket" list, then we will see you Friday! Toastmasters will give you the skills and confidence you need to express yourself effectively in any situation. Whether you are a professional, student, stay-at-home parent or retired, Toastmasters is the most efficient, enjoyable and affordable way of gaining great communication skills.

Well, why should kids be the only ones to have the fun? And wouldn't a book fair be more fun if you could drink while perusing the selections?!

Kick off your Halloween weekend with a haunted twist on the childhood classic book fair.

Join us on Friday, October 24th from 4 to 8 PM!

Come one come all to a hands on weekly tea brewing class. Learn the simple steps to brewing a perfect, organic, all natural cup of hot or glass of iced tea any time. Do it at home, at work, on the road, literally anywhere you can get hot water (or cold water for cold brewed teas).

We will take all the mystery and angst out of tea brewing and explore the many health benefits of loose leaf and herbal teas. Find the one that is right for you with over 100 flavors and endless flavor combinations.

American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions invites you to a free, family-friendly Halloween celebration!

Bring your little ghouls and goblins for an evening filled with candy, games, face painting, music, FREE FOOD, prizes, and a costume contest. Local organizations will also be onsite sharing resources and treats!

Bexar County Parks and Rec. invites you and your family and friends to enjoy Friday Night Flicks, a FREE outdoor movie series! Experience the magic of cinema under the stars on our giant 11' x 20' inflatable screen. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and favorite people for a night of family-friendly entertainment in the park. Concessions will be available, offering snacks and treats to enjoy during the movie!

What to Bring: Blankets, chairs, snacks (or grab some from our concessions!), family & friends All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Admission: FREE

Pollinator BioBlitz participants observe and identify pollinators. This virtual event is open to all ages and abilities interested in finding pollinators and nectar-producing plants, taking photos, and sharing with friends! Share observations by posting a photo or video to Instagram, iNaturalist, or the Facebook event page. Pollinator observation challenges and informative links will be emailed to all registered participants regularly to add to the fun.
