Following the enthusiastic response to its December presentation of Messiah Part I, the San Antonio Mastersingers will present Handel’s Messiah, Parts II and III — From Passion to Resurrection — on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 4 p.m. at University Methodist Church.
The December concert featured Part I of Handel’s beloved masterwork – the Christmas portion -- and included the triumphant and familiar “Hallelujah” Chorus from Part II. Now, on the Sunday after Easter, audiences are invited to experience the powerful conclusion of the oratorio — a dramatic journey from Christ’s Passion to the glory of the Resurrection and the promise of eternal life.
Under the direction of Music Director Dr. Yoojin Muhn, the 125-voice auditioned Mastersingers chorus will be joined again by a professional orchestra and returning soloists:
• Soprano Megan Pachecano• Mezzo-Soprano Sabatina Mauro• Tenor David Sadlier• Bass Tres Hunter
“Parts II and III complete the story that began in December,” said Dr. Muhn. “From the depth of suffering to the radiant hope of ‘Worthy is the Lamb’ and ‘Amen,’ this music offers a timeless message that continues to inspire hearts and nourish souls.”

King William Association presents a Free Concert in the Park. Remijio “Primo” Carrasco partnered with David Beebe in 2012. They are both singers and guitar players. Primo y Beebe have played numerous venues and shows of all types, all around the Trans-Pecos area of West Texas. The music of the border transcends age and ethnic differences along the borderlands, and the duo is known for their long shows and getting people on the dance floor, even without the volume level and intensity of a full backing band.
They will be joined by Joe Reyes, guitarist, producer and singer. He performed at our concert in September last year and often works with other bands. He plays electric and acoustic guitars with Jazz, metal, indie-rock, rock’n’roll, blues, Latin fusion and more.
Come and experience this great musical event. A FREE concert for all ages. Come early and bring friends, a blanket or chairs, and a picnic if you like.

The show opens March 22, 2026 through May 27, 2026, and presents creative pinhole portraits of San Antonio Artist immersed in their artform.
The opening exhibit of Eric O’Connell’s pinhole photography invites viewers into a living moment where time, movement, and memory converge. Through long exposures that compress minutes into a single frame, O’Connell reveals portraits that are both sharp and softly obscured, capturing not just a subject’s image but the interaction, motion, and atmosphere surrounding them.
Ghostly blurs, shifting shadows, and layered spaces create a sense of transparency and connection, allowing creativity, place, and presence to merge into one unified view. This exhibit asks audiences to slow down and consider the fleeting, often overlooked relationships between time, the artist, and the world they inhabit.
