Immerse yourself in the vibrant colors and rich culture of Persia as we come together to celebrate Autumn. Whether you're a seasoned Mehregan enthusiast or new to the festivities, there's something for everyone to enjoy at this lively event.

Theme: “Persian Mythology.” Persia (Iran) has a history rich in literature and history. The lands were home to many great writers and poets whose works helped shape the history, future, and present day lives of Iranians. The festival will highlight some of these works of literature by highlighting the many mythological characters of Persian literature along with food, live performances and a vendor market.

Join local author Antonia Murguia as she shares "Antonia's Poetic Heart: A Little Chapbook of Poems," an intimate collection that explores the relationships and stories we all carry — blending tenderness, truth, humor, and reflection.

This month we are reading “Marmee” by Sarah Miller. In 1861, Margaret March, with her husband serving as an army chaplain, finds the comfort and security of her four daughters resting on her shoulders as she faces financial hardships, secrets, and tragedy, in this revealing retelling of “Little Women” from the perspective of the beloved matriarch known as Marmee.

Join the Parman Library's Indecisive Book Club, where we are indecisive about what we want to read and love to explore a variety of books! Indecisive Book Club meets the second Monday of every month from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. See you there!
