A collaborative journey between singer-songwriter and guitarist Azul Barrientos and classical pianist Daniel Anastasio, this program weaves a spiritual tapestry across time and tradition. Anchored in the deep well of ancient Mexican poetry and mysticism, the music flows seamlessly into present-day expressions of longing, identity, and transformation. Featuring music by Maurice Ravel, George Crumb, original works by Azul, and spontaneous improvisations, the performance invites listeners into an intimate space where ancestral memory and personal reflection converge—where the past sings through the present.
