The 83rd season of the San Antonio Chamber Music Society kicks off on October 12, 2025, with London’s Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble. Come hear a riveting program featuring Schubert’s Octet in F major, D. 803, considered one of the greatest chambers works of all time; Françaix’s witty Octet, commissioned as a companion piece to Schubert’s Octet; and a special work commissioned by the Academy. Drawn from the principal players of the renowned orchestra, Academy of St. Martin in the Fields (currently directed by legendary violinist Joshua Bell), the 8-member chamber ensemble is directed/led by Violinist Tomo Keller. This concert is dedicated to the memory of Eileen Lundin, who worked passionately and tirelessly to promote music in our community through over two decades on the San Antonio Chamber Music Society board. There will be an announcement recognizing and honoring her at the concert.

Individual Concert Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased at the door or online up to one day prior to the concert at the SACMS website. A season ticket for $100 includes 6 concert tickets that can be used at any of the 2025-2026 season concerts.
