Piñatapalooza
HFA: Alameda School's Fine Arts department is knee-deep in tissue paper for this year's Piñatapalooza. Students are working on piñatas in Sculpture class and in Art I. Deep Thoughts is the theme and pieces will range in size from 10 inches to 4 feet. Attendees will have an opportunity to hit piñatas; transforming the exhibition into a lively performance. Theatre students also will present work based on the history and origin of the piñata.
