Join the MujerArtes Women’s Clay Cooperative for an ongoing Exhibit at the Rinconcito de Esperanza.
Dichos or “sayings” are part of an oral tradition. The sayings are passed on from generation to generation because they contain advice of popular wisdom. That is how Dichos became a form of
popular expression.
Since 1995, MujerArtes members have shaped clay into historic snapshots of their lives as Chicana/Mexicana/Latina women. Working cooperatively, they create an environment where each woman is a teacher and student. All of their hand-crafted and painted creations are unique and make wonderful gifts!

You can visit MujerArtes year-round at their Westside studio located at the Rinconcito de Esperanza.
