Bihl Haus Arts will host a poetry reading and foodraiser benefitting the San Antonio Food Bank during the closing reception for “Food Stories,” a photographic exhibition by Gina Davison from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at Bihl Haus Arts Gallery, 2803 Fredericksburg Road. The exhibition features 15 new and recent photographic works as part of Fotoseptiembre. Guests are asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the San Antonio Food Bank.

The food-themed poetry reading includes readings by Anthony the Poet, Gerardo Carrasco, Jacinto Jesus Cardona, Charles Darnell, Violeta Garza, Jim LaVilla-Havelin, Carmen Tafolla. They will read from their own works, as well as the poetry of Pablo Neruda and Trinidad Sanchez Jr.
