THE INVISIBLE WALL: OVERCOMING SOCIAL OBSTRUCTIONS IN HIGHER EDUCATION The effort and acumen required for students to pursue their dream of a college education is substantial, and the obstructions potentially preventing them from degree completion are many. VANESSA SANSONE Assistant Professor of Higher Education Center for Research and Policy in Education Faculty Affiliate College of Education and Human Development Dr. Sansone’s research agenda aims to advance equity and success for diverse student populations in higher education.
