Characterized around the globe as southwestern surf, King Pelican is San Antonio’s premier surf rock band. They showed up to the Lonesome Rose focused on one goal and one goal only, to shred. This set from King Pelican made us miss what we love most about live music. The tones were top notch. The gear was vintage and well kept. The origins - a ‘dad band’ inspired by the music used in SpongeBob Squarepants.
