Where The Presidential Candidates Stand On Health Care

Health care has taken on a new urgency since the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg leaves a vacant seat, just as the court is expected to rule on whether the Affordable Care Act is constitutional.

The president has also made overturning Roe V. Wade a priority in his handling of reproductive health care, while Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden supports both the ACA and access to safe, legal abortion.

Here & Now’s Robin Young talks to Larry Levitt, executive vice president for health policy at the Kaiser Family Foundation about these issues, as well as drug pricing, Medicaid and coronavirus response.
