New York Governor David Paterson has unveiled a plan to cut his state's $15 billion budget deficit. Part of the plan includes closing some state prisons and cutting more than 1,300 prison jobs. Many communities rely on the prisons for jobs and worry the closures will bring high unemployment to already struggling areas.
