The Science Behind 'Sex, Power, and Partisanship'

What are the evolutionary roots of today's partisan landscape? San Antonio-based clinical psychologist and author Hector Garcia's new book delves into factors contributing to sociopolitical divides and ideologies around the world.

How do ancestral behaviors and traits like competition and tribalism influence modern attitudes?

What do identifiers and ideas like gender norms, political orientations or religious beliefs mean for the future of functioning societies?

Garcia's book will be featured at the San Antonio Book Festival on April 6, 2019.
