More than 90 authors will be featured in this year's San Antonio Book Festival, which is scheduled for April 7 at the Central Library and Southwest School of Art.
Now in its sixth year, the free one-day event has brought in more than 20,000 participants since 2013.
The festival – in partnership with other local entities like the public library – features the work of local writers as well as national authors and their new publications.
Panels, performances, contests and other family-friendly opportunities center around the festival downtown.
Who can you expect at the 2018 San Antonio Book Festival? How do events like these help create a more robust literary community in San Antonio?
