The Texas Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing on proposed toll lanes to I-35 on the Northeast side. The added lanes are for a stretch from the Loop 410 South interchange out to FM 1103 in Schertz.
You may recall public hearings held on this matter last fall. Thursday’s hearing will take place in the Event Center at Morgan’s Wonderland at 5223 David Edwards Drive. An Open House will take place from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by the formal presentation.
The proposed Build Alternative would add four elevated toll lanes — two lanes in each direction to the existing road. Direct connectors would also be modified at the Loop 410 South, Loop 410 West, and Loop 1604 interchanges.
