San Antonio Public Library Expands Digital Collection To New Locations

San Antonio Public Library

It's called Digital Wallpaper. The specially-designed wallpaper contains digital QR codes that are recognized by smart phones and tablets.

Now, the San Antonio Public Library has expanded its Digital Library wallpaper to six new locations around town. Library card holders can use the codes to download eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies and music. Visitors who do not have a Library Card are able to use the wallpaper to access public domain titles.

The wallpaper locations now include the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, the Jewish Community Center, South Side Lions Community Center, Woodard Community Center, the Ronald Darner Parks and Recreation, and Lions Field.

The Library also recently opened three digital library kiosks at the San Antonio International Airport that act as a gateway to SAPL’s Digital Library.
