The San Antonio Spurs are once again the Western Conference Champions and last night hundreds of fans flooded many of San Antonio’s major streets in celebration of the Spurs’ win against the Grizzlies.

Commerce and Market Streets were packed end to end with people in their cars honking horns, waving Spurs flags and sticking brooms out the window to mark the sweeping 4-0 victory in the series.

Fans like Mario Soza and Bianca Garcia said the team is going to bring home another title.

"This has been a long time since the Spurs have excited a crowd the way that they’ve been, and it’s really good to bring the city back into the game. They’ve got the team this year to take it all the way and I’m just really pumped up with the team that they have," Soza said.

"We’re going to take it! It’s go hard or go home! Timmy wants to win this year, he wants it, the team wants it, the city wants it. We’re going to win, I know it," said Garcia.

This is the Spurs’ fifth time going to the NBA Finals, the previous four trips ended in the Spur’s favor with NBA Championships.

If the Spurs win it will be their fifth championship since 1999, but who the silver and black will face in the finals is still up in the air. The Miami Heat have a 2-1 lead over the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference.

The finals will begin on June 6. If the Heat win the Eastern Conference Finals then the first game will be in Miami, if the Pacers win then the Spurs will have home court advantage.
